Under the car near the gas tank along side the vapor control canister.

I assume you are taking about the evap system purge valve - the purge valve is located behind the EGR valve on the left side of the engine.

theres 2 o2 sensors one is midway back down the exhuast and one is up by the exhuast manifold

Underneath the intake manifold. Usually around a 2-4 hour job for beginners. Make sure you are careful when disconnecting fuel rail so you do not get fuel in your eyes or where it could start on fire!!

Pretty dependable,but not cheap to repair when there is a problem.

firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2.

You don't want to buy a car with bad valve/s. The engine is losing compression in those cylinders and will end up rebuilding quickly or sitting on the road for a tow. Just hope you look at another CADILLAC and let this one pass. Engine failure waiting to happen
