Hi! I have a 2002 Cadillac Deville and yesterday I unlock the door with key pad and opened it and when I did I heard the chiming sound that it makes when you have the keys in the ignition with the door open, and when I cranked the car up the chiming sound was still going you know the bell sound, and for some reason it will not stop. I have unplug stuff and everything and still nothing! I am just tired of hearing that ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, ding, sound while I am driving Please help! I turn my radio up to drown out the ding, ding, sound!

It may be trying to get your attention for an open door, trunk lid or other item requiring attention. Check your owner's manual for items that can cause it to chime.

2000 cadillac deville driver side won't open with the key

1) Key turns but dose not unlock door. This means that the rod that goes to the back of the lock has came off. This also means that is the reason door is not unlocking with the remote as it pops the lock rod inside the door which pushes the lock open.
2) Key does not turn lock at all but works passengers side door. This means that the locks has been changed in the door, but that doesn't sound like the problem as you say the remote doesn't open the drivers side door so more than likely the rod has came off the back of the lock

Remote will not work have change battery

You may need to program it. Here is how you do that, if that is not a fix then you may need a new remote.
  1. Remove key from ignition.
  2. Close all doors.
  3. Open driver side door and leave open.
  4. Perform the following steps within 24 seconds.
    a. Insert key in ignition.
    b. Turn key to ON and OFF.
    c. Repeat step b two more times.
    d. Remove key.
    e. Push driver door frame button three times (black rubber button located on driver door frame that tell the vehicle whether or not door is closed.)

5. Buzz sound, chime or doors will lock and unlock should be heard at this point signaling that the vehicle is now in
programming mode. If not, wait 40 seconds and return to step 4.

6. All transmitters need to be programmed at this time, including the old ones. Push any button on the transmitter
two times. A buzz sound, chime or doors locking and unlocking should be heard at this point signaling that the
vehicle has accepted the new transmitter code. If there is only one transmitter, repeat this step two more times
using the only transmitter. If there are two transmitters, repeat this step two more times using the second
transmitter.

7. Push driver door frame button one time. Two buzz sounds, chimes or doors locking and unlocking 2 times should
be heard at this point signaling successful programming.

NEED TO KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM A REMOTE PAD FOR A MAZDA 626 EX 1995 PLEASE I REPLACED THE BATTERIES AND EVER SINCE THEN THE REMOTE DONT WORK

1. Remove key from ignition.
2. Close all doors.
3. Open driver side door and leave open.
4. Insert key in ignition, Turn key to ON (as far as you can go without starting the engine) and OFF, Remove Key.
5. Repeat step 4 two more times, making sure you remove key each time.
6. Close and then open the driver’s door three times.
7. Buzz sound or chime should be heard at this point signaling that the vehicle is now in programming mode. If not,
wait 40 seconds and return to step 1.

8. All transmitters need to be programmed at this time, including the old ones. Push any button on a transmitter two
times. A buzz sound to chime should be heard at this point signaling that the vehicle has accepted the new
transmitter code. Repeat for next transmitter, up to a total of three remotes (including any old remotes).

9. After all remotes are programmed, wait 15 seconds or until you hear four chimes signaling successful
programming.

Good luck and this should work.

Ok here are the programming instructions for the remote, follow them exactly, no missed steps, if this doesn't correct the issue the remote is defective most likely.

How do i remove the front and rear door panels on my 2002 deville? Also would you happen to know the speakers sizes on the 2002 deville? I've heard that there are 8 speakers and a factory amplifier, i do...

First unlock the door. look at the door lock, you can see a little tab like that you can pull out. Do this and pull the door lock cap off. Next, behind the door handle is a cover you just pull off buy putting that flat edge of a butter or something behind it and pulling out. It is only held in with velcrow. Next, take out the screw behind that plate. Now all you have to do is run along the bottom of the door and pull it straight out until it is loose. Then pick the door straight up and off.
