PVC Replacement

Sorry Darryl I am not conversant with PVC connected to cars. Do you perhaps mean PCV?
Positive crankcase ventilation is sometimes controlled by a valve which should be checked, cleaned or replaced as required during routine maintenance.

The PCV valve is often found screwed into the engine valve cover and is part of the engine breather system which vents foul crankcase emissions either into the air cleaner or into the inlet manifold.

I hope this helps.

No spark at the plugs and no spark at the coil

Likely the ignition control module. When cranking does the tach register a couple hundred rpm? If the tach doesn't register the ICM is the likely culprit. It's in the distributor. You unscrew two little screws (don't lose 'em), take the module to a parts store, have it tested, get a new one, have it tested, use the heat sink paste that comes with it, use one of those telescoping magnet things to start the screws, plug in the connectors, put the cap back on, vrrroom.

Honda ems 4000 generator starts and runs great, but no power

The plunger is stuck where the governor rod which is spring attached to the frame is. If you locate the governor metal rod on the lower level of the unit. zrock it to a higher rpm as you would a car carburator from under the hood.
This will free the plunger and the green light will go on and your current meter will register 120 volts.

When you lay up the generator for quite some time it often sticks closed. With monthly start up you will no have this problem reoccurr.
