SOURCE: locassion of output speed sensor on 2003 Town and Country

The input and output speed sensors look identical on the connector side. The one over the solenoid pack is the input, the one closer to the left frame rail or left front wheel is the output sensor. I hope this helps.

SOURCE: transmission input speed sensor location

It is located on the front of the transmission. you will see 2 of them one on the left under small transmission lines it is the input then to the right behind the radiator overflow there is the other one. Easiest way to change them is with a 1" deep well socket

SOURCE: I need to replace the transmission speed sensor

usually they are at the back of the tranny with a 2 wire plugin and one bolt holding it in...if not it may be part of your rear ABS sensor in your rear end...do you have any codes about ABS

SOURCE: where on the transmission is the speed sensor

If you remove the air filter box, the Input shaft speed sensor can be seen on the top of the transmission, beneath the cable shift linkage. You'll have to remove some brackets to move some electrical cables and the like out of the way, but it's a pretty straight forward remove/install. The output sensor is also on the top of the transaxle, but further back towards the firewall. To differentiate between the two: the input shaft electrical plugs in vertically, the output shaft electrical plugs in horizontally. BE SURE to completely clean all dirt/sand/debris away from the sensors before removing them.

Location and/or diagram of the output speed sensor on a 2014 Ford F150 XLT transmission.

The output speed sensor on a 2014 Ford F150 XLT is typically located on the transmission tailshaft or the rear of the transmission case. It is used to measure the rotational speed of the transmission output shaft and send a signal to the vehicle's powertrain control module (PCM) indicating the transmission gear ratio.
I would recommend checking the vehicle's service manual for a more specific location and a diagram of the sensor, as the location and installation may vary depending on the specific transmission model and options your Ford F150 XLT has.
The output speed sensor is typically a small, cylindrical sensor that is mounted to the transmission case. It is connected to the PCM via a harness and may be located near the transmission oil pan or near the output shaft.
If you're unsure of its location or have trouble finding it, a professional mechanic will be able to locate and diagnose any issues with the output speed sensor.

I have 2003 infini fx45 The speedometer is not working. I can not find the speed sensor. Any thing will help please. Thanks

Hello Jay,

Your speed sensor is going to be on the output (final drive) of your transmission...

I went to RockAuto (Locator service also provided by AUTOZONE) to see if they had a position or a picture = DO NOT even have the part... Oh well.

Just look for two or three wires on the output side of the transmission (black plastic... single bolt hold in (see picture).

Where is the transmission sensor located?

The transmission sensor or speed sensor is located in most vehicle located on the transmission case. These speed sensors are driven by a gear located on the output shaft. The speed sensor's driven gear can be either machined or fastened by a clip. The driven gear is made by plastic to make it softer than the drive gear. It's located on the end of the vehicle speed sensor.

Infiniti 2004 G35, need to replace speed sensor, looking to verify that valve covers need to be replaced in order to replace sensors?

I'm not sure when you say valve covers (with an "s") In any case you do need to remove the pan on the transmission. Below is a picture of its location. This picture is with the pan already removes. It is the connector for the revolution sensor (also know as a speed sensor). Hope this helps,,,,,
