Drive 1978 Dodge mobile traveler to my house 26 miles drove and ran fine got into driveway shut it off and week later went to start it turned key and nothing no noise no click click just nothing

What could be my issue ? I did try and jump it but still got nothing

Sometimes there is a bad connection in the ignition switch in combination with the gear shifter. Try wiggling around the two a bit when you turn it to start. But first, can you tell us if there are any bad fuses? Check the fuses.

Loose or coroded battery terminals or starter, clean battery connections, try it, if that doesnt work, probably starter

Also, when you have the dog house off, remove the distributor cap and check for moisture.

sounds to me like you have a short in the ignition itself , it seems intermittent which would make me believe its the ignition

Start at Changing your sparkplugs wires (if you are performing this on your own replace one by one to prevent mix-up). If problem still persists, have coil pack checked or replaced. Hopefully this helps!!
