Torque settings for Tata 709 EX Turbo

The torque settings for the 4 cylinder engine on a Tata 709 EX Turbo will depend on the specific model and year of your vehicle, as well as the type of engine you have. Tata Motors provides specific torque specifications for each of their vehicles in their service manuals, which can be obtained from a Tata Motors dealership or service center.
Here are the general torque settings for a Tata 709 EX Turbo with a 4 cylinder engine:
  • Cylinder head bolts: 80-85 Nm
  • Connecting rod bolts: 55-60 Nm
  • Main bearing bolts: 80-85 Nm
  • Flywheel bolts: 65-70 Nm
  • Oil pump bolts: 15-20 Nm
  • Oil pan bolts: 10-15 Nm
  • Oil cooler bolts: 10-15 Nm
Note: These torque settings are provided for reference only, and may not be applicable to your specific vehicle. Always refer to the service manual for your vehicle to obtain the correct torque settings. Improperly tightened bolts or fasteners can lead to engine damage or failure, so it is important to follow the torque specifications provided by the manufacturer.

I need the torque settings for toyota corola 1993 cylinder head torque please ?

Hi Manuel, There are a number of different engines used in the Corolla, knowing which would be a great help. The engines used in the 1993 are of the 'A' series and 'E' series. The torque for the A series is 29 nm + 90 degrees. When removing the head begin loosening from the outer bolts. When the head is off have it inspected for warpage and skimmed if it is required. Tightening any cylinder head always begins at the middle or centre and works outwards. As my friend has said, the camshaft caps are tightened to 9 nm and the inlet manifold goes to 24 nm, and the exhaust is 27 nm. The tappet cover I think is 29 nm. The tappet cover is tightened on the A series with nuts onto the plug tubes. Regards John

2001 grand cherokee 4.0l valve rocker torque specs

5 million made.
it's in the fsm book
posted here over 300 times.
are you asking , how to set rockers ?

chapter 9 page 27
------------------text fsm---------------------
INSPECTION
Inspect the pivot surface area of each rocker arm.
Replace any that are scuffed, pitted, cracked or
excessively worn.
Inspect the valve stem tip contact surface of each
rocker arm and replace any rocker arm that is deeply
pitted.
Inspect each push rod end for excessive wear and
replace as required. If any push rod is excessively
worn because of lack of oil, replace it and inspect the
corresponding hydraulic tappet for excessive wear.
Inspect the push rods for straightness by rolling
them on a flat surface or by shining a light between
the push rod and the flat surface.
A wear pattern along the length of the push rod is
not normal. Inspect the engine cylinder head for
obstruction if this condition exists.
INSTALLATION
NOTE: This procedure can be done with the engine
in or out of the vehicle.
(1) Lubricate the ball ends of the push rods with
Mopart Engine Oil Supplement, or equivalent and
install push rods in their original locations. Ensure
that the bottom end of each push rod is centered in
the tappet plunger cap seat.
(2) Using Mopart Engine Oil Supplement, or
equivalent, lubricate the area of the rocker arm that
the pivot contacts. Install rocker arms, pivots and
bridge above each cylinder in their originally position
(Fig. 23).
(3) Loosely install the capscrews through each
bridge.
(4) At each bridge, tighten the capscrews alternately,
one turn at a time, to avoid damaging the
bridge. Tighten the capscrews to 28 N·m (21 ft. lbs.)
torque.
(5) Install the engine cylinder head cover (Refer to
9 - ENGINE/CYLINDER HEAD/CYLINDER HEAD
COVER(S) - INSTALLATION).
