Hi, Please I need Lexus 1999 ES 300 Sedan (Coach Edition) gear release button cover

Some automatic vehicles rely on the brake switch (mounted on brake pedal) to be activated by depressing brake pedal. This signal then operates a relay and switch, to release the gear lever.

Firstly, I would check the brake pedal switch (are your brake lights working?).

If brake switch is confirmed OK, then inspect the relay (and related circuit components) of the gear release switch.

hi no more sin, the camshafts have the variable valve timing, not the
air mass sensor which should be a black box at the end of the air
intake snorkel closest to the engine.
get it scanned by a technician to make sure you get the right
information as to where to start.

I doubt these problems have anything to do with each other.The shaking steering wheel could be an out of balance or bad tire(torn belt),a bent wheel,or improperly tightened lug nuts(not torqued evenly).The check engine light will require a code scanner to see what the code is.(if you work on your own cars,you might want to buy at least an entry-level code reader/clearer,some are under 50 bucks).

Hi sorry to tell you but it is NOT a switch :(
What it maybe though is the "Bands" sounds like they are slipping, they simply may just need tightening, this is NOT a task that one can DIY. if it is this it isn't too expensive a fix either.
You will/should take the car into a place that specialises in the Lexus model. then ask ONLY for a "Quote' as to costings and what needs to be done, get appraised of it all, and go from there.

My Lexus es 300 most often when engine is warm will not shift in to last gear. Stop engine start it will shift ok when engine is cool. engine pings kock senores. When in gear at high speed the car runs like new?? Car run bad in hot weather. VSC light on. Red light looks a circle with red line through it comes on not always..

Is your O/D off? There should be a light under your speedometer, if it says "O/D OFF" than your car wont go to fourth gear. You can turn the overdrive back on on the knob that changes gears, theres a little button on the side. Press it and you should be good.

key works remote doesnot work

the lexus es 300 has a button on the shifter. when accidentally pressed, will turn the o/d off. simply press the button on the gear shift.
