SOURCE: How do you change the steering wheel on the bf

First disconnect the battery positive lead. Then you will have to remove the lower steering column shroud - philips screwdriver. Then you will see two tork screws behind the steering wheel. Remove these and the airbag will come out. Disconnect the three elect' plugs and the airbag will come free. Wheel centre bolt is also a tork bolt but I used an imperial allen key (5/16 if I remember correctly) to loosen it but didn't take it right out. Then a wheel puller with the centre screw resting against the tok bolt head to loosen the wheel, (two metric bolts screw into the wheel hub) remove the puller, remove the tork bolt and the wheel should come off easy. Good luck.

I have a 2005 BF Ford Falcon. It seems some wires have snapped where they enter the indicator arm and as a result my headlights arent working. is it possible to take the actual lightswith off or do i have...

The problem is that ford or the supplier of this particular switch did not alllow for the travel of the indicator wand when they made it. My 2006 BF has only 76000kms on the clock and as many other owners of this model and with the same amount of km's on the clock are finding now that they have to lay out a fortune ($400-$600) on something that was a design fault from day one.
Good luck, THIS PROBLEM SHOULD BE A SAFETY RECALL DUE THE DRIVER BEING UNAWARE THAT THEY HAVE ABSOLUTLY NO REAR LIGHTS.
