There are actually four mounts. The two on the passenger side are called motor mounts. The two on the driver's side are both called transmission mounts. I've included two photos of what yours will look like. The top photo is the right side upper motor mount. before ordering inspect the upper mount for a broken bolt. The bolt in the center sometimes breaks.

SOURCE: Engine motor mounts on 2001 PT Cruiser
Place a block of wood under the engine sump to prevent damage when you jack up the engine to take the tension off the mount. Make sure you do not jack the engine up too much as you might damage the exhaust, cooling hoses etc.
SOURCE: Need to replace a Thermostat on a 2001 PT Cruiser.
Most thermostats are located in the upper radiator hose housing mounted to engine block. Make sure engine is cold put a catch pan under your car to catch any antifreeze that comes out. Remove the two bolts holding the housing on the engine and remove thermostat and gasket. Clean engine block where gasket goes very good and also the housing, have to remove all gasket material so when installing new one it will seal and wont cause a leak. Make sure when you put the thermostat back in it goes in spring side down towards engine. Replace housing and bolts. replace lost coolant with a 50/50 mixture in your recovery tank. Start engine let heat to temp and check for leaks.
SOURCE: replacing a starter in a PT. Cruiser 2001
Remove battery and battery support you'll be able to undo starter bolt's trough there and slip starter out.
Testimonial: "This didn't help, because you had to remove the engine structural collar under the starter to get at the starter bolt. It was more complicated."
