Those emblems are usually just glued on. You can do one of two things, take a hair dryer or heat gun and carefully heat the area until the glue becomes gummy. Remove the emblem and use an adhesive remover to get ris of the residue. You can also take a piece of fishing line and stretch it between your two hands so it's tight. Then gently work it back and forth between the emblem and the dash. It should pop right off.

Might be a problem with the compass module itself. Since the car is new, and still under warranty, take it to the dealer. They will fix it free of charge. Trying to repair it yourself may void the waranty.
