SOURCE: parking lights nissan 2002 xterra

Open the back lift door. Inside next to the lights there are screws that need to be removed before you can get the whole parking light off. After you get the screws out, you will have to force the whole plastic light cover to get to the burn out light. Once you get the whole light out, replace the bulb and follow the process in reverse.

SOURCE: Diagram available for 01 Nissan Xterra Knock Sensor location?

V6 3.3L The sensor is located underneath the air intake manifold on top of the engine block. This should take an experienced mechanic about 3-4 hours to replace.

SOURCE: The blinkers are not working correctly on my 2001

hi again thanks for reply from the symptoms you now clearly describe it would seem the flasher unit is faulty ie as it is operating its contact may be o/heating and failing these are not servicable and have to be renewed simple diy ? the point you made that your hazard indicators are also doing same as indicators woul suggest that the actual flasher relay unit is the actual hazard switch this is common on other cars so you need to remove switch/hazard and unplug the socket then fit a replacement you could try other cars /breakers? for same switch and try lights if ok then much cheaper than a new one hope this helps ?

For a 2001 nissan xterra when should the timing belt be replaced

On a 3.3L engine V-6, Nissan recommends replacement every 105,000 miles, note that this is an interference engine, that piston to valve damage will happen in the event of a timing belt failure.

Xterra with 2.4L and 4.0L have timing chain only, no timing belt.

Nissan xterra 2003 car noisy problem

If it's the water pump there should be water leaking, if it's the steering pump the noise  would change as you turn the steering wheel left to right. If it's constant, it could be just old belt and bad idler and tension pully. Start buy praying a little water to the belt while the engine is running and if the noise goes away, the belt is in time to be chaged. If the noise is still there, then most likly it's the ilder bering or tension bearing. Good luck
