If power windows, the usual reason is that the winder motor brushes have worn out. Second reason is that power is not being applied from the switch. Time for someone to check with a voltmeter.

The first thing that I would do is check for electricty at the motors them sel and work your way back.If there is elec. at the window motor it's self susspect a motor problem.Remove the motor to see if it spins (but it dosen't me its good it could be week)next check for binding in the window mecanism.
