Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2 cyls. # 1-3-5 on drivers side front to back and cyls. # 2-4-6 passenger side front to back.

Firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2. Distributor cap should be numbered. Number one cylinder is front on driver's side (3 and 5 follow on same side). Number 2 is front on passenger's side (followed by 4 and 6).

'80 Monte Carlo, a good ride. A Chilton's book is a good investment. It will show you wiring and vacuum hoses and how to do the brakes, etc.

The drivers side bank cylinders are 1,3,5,7 starting from the front. The passenger side is 2,4,6,8 also starting from the front.
