Yeah, all the bulbs are burned out. LOL I'm sure that is not the problem! But it is possible. If the fuses and relay have been changed, do you know they were bad in the first place...and if they were, do you know they just didn't blow or blow out because of a short, again? You or someone who knows wiring diagrams needs to check for power getting to the system first, then keep sleuthing to find where the problem is.

SOURCE: no flashers or turn signals

Try the fuse/breaker panel under hood, drivers side.

SOURCE: turn signals wont work but flashers do

Hi.
On your 98 Dakota.
Is equipaded with a single Flasher.
If you replace all ready.
Check the FUSE # 10, 15 amp..
On the Fuse box. left side of Dash.
and the FUSE D 25, amp. On engine compartment Fuse box.
Check the proper funtion of the HAZARD switch.
Bacause if the Hazard switch is bad the turn signal don't will work. Match the OLD flasher with the New one.

If after of this still not work.
Remove the steering wheel cover, locate the Turn signal switch connector and with a TEST Light check power with the Key ON
12v. to the RED wire and PINK wire..
If you found 12v. check the connection with the switch.
If the connection is good. you will need to replace the turn signal switch.
But if you don't found 12v. You need to look a an open circuit.
And fix it..

I hope this help on your problem..
Thank you for use fixya...

SOURCE: I have A 2000 Chevy 3500 Express Van and the brake

Hi,

When you said that you checked the brake switch, did you check it live? Meaning verified live power to the switch, press switch, and then power came out the other terminal?

If so, also verify zero power on brake press, at the offending brake light bulb terminal. You must verify the test light each time you move it...leave running lights on...

After verifying that there is no power coming, after the brake is pressed, note the wire color and find it where it comes to the steering column and test there... This would eliminate wires and connections between front and the rear of the vehicle, unlikely, but needs to be tested.

After verifying no power at that terminal, then yes the t/s switch is certainly suspece. This may be the time to get a mechanic to verify and replace the switch, there are locks, tilt mechanisms, air bags, column bearings, etc involved. Failures risk loss of vehicle control (locking or binding for example.)..

Hope this gets you going in the right direction.

Testimonial: "Thank You. I tried those things and it seemed to be the Emergency Flasher switch in the multi function switch."

SOURCE: my 2000 dodge durango turn signal lights stop working.

A Mechanic told me my switch was broken, but the switch was working fine, the lights just stopped flashing. After some research and consulting with a male friend who knows more about this than I, we discovered it was only the turn signal flasher -- a $16.00 part. On the 2000 model, it's located under the dash, on a separate fuse panel I didn't even know was there. It's to the left of the steering column and right behind the main fuse box, but you can only get to it by going up under the dash. The green one is a little hard to get to, but that's the one for the hazard lights. Its easy to see with a good shop light. It's 1" by 1" ish. The turn signal flasher is below the green one. It's black and a little smaller, and much easier to get to. You simply unplug it and plug the new one in. Voila! There are other fuses on this panel -- I'm not sure what they go to, but I intend to find out so I don't waste money replacing parts I don't need to.

2006 Dodge Durango. Need help locating the blinker relay on it!?

Question edited for clarity.
Question moved to model category.

There isn't one. Turn signals are a feature of the ECM/BCM and are done electronically. The problem is likely to be the switch.

2000 Durango, signals will not work

I too have a 2000 durango - I had a signal light problem for over a month - we could not figure it out. I automatically thought it was the steering column. Sometimes the signals would work...mostly the left signal would not come on or blink only a few times. After bulb changes, looking at fuses and wiring connections - we replaced a small signal relay located way under the dash [had to remove a small dash section underneith the driver's side] It is extremely difficult to reach -a few scraped knuckles - but once we changed it - the $40 part was the issue.
