95 mustang only blows hot air out of ac

I have a 95 ford mustang convertible that the ac started blowing only out of the defrost. I found a vacuum leak in the engine and repaired the line and it started blowing out the proper vents except now it only blows hot air. I had the ac evacuated and recharged at only 1.2 lbs but it is still only blowing hot air. I repaired one vacuum leak in the engine compartment am I to understand there may be another one. It is blowing out of the vents like it should now an I had it charged but still only hot air.

Testimonial: "This was very helpful I had already located a vacuum leak but still needed to recharge system and reset it at the junction by jumping it. Thank you."

I have had dozens of vehicles over the last 40 years. I could not afford to pay somebody to do the work. This computer stuff is a blessing. I try to put stuff out there which might help someone. Thank you for your comment. When I read a question I think what if it were me. Sometimes I put stuff out there which is more than needed but I am thinking what would I have needed.
    Thank you

vacuum supply problem to the HVAC controls. check the vacuum hose leading from the engine to the passenger compartment.

95 mustang Still tring to get air to blow out vents will only blow hot air out the defrost holes... no matter if i put it on vent or AC or heat its the same temp and it comes from the defrost holes Some...

check the vacuum lines in the selector switch. the baffles that switch from hot air and cool air are vacuum controlled and if the lines are detached or cracked the suction will not move the baffles.

Check the vaccum line at the vacuum distribution block (to the right of the brake master cylinder). It's the smallest vacuum hose.

1996 ford mustang convertible ac blows cold only from defroster

Does it still blow out the floor and defrost when you set the switch to those positions or does it alway blow out the defrost no matter what? If you can get air to blow out to the floor, then it sounds like you lost the switch that controls the airflow to the vents. If it only blows out the defrost, then you probably lost the vacuum to all of the switches. When the vacuum is lost, it will only blow out the defrost. Check the smallest line on the vacuum distribution block located in the corner near the brake master cyclinder. That line provides the vacuum to control the direction of airflow within the cabin.
