The Hombre cuts off without warning while driving. Then it cranks back up.

Had this same problem. Someone used a non-chipped key, in the ignition. The vehicle started shutting down, while driving down the road. Security system, had to be rebooted, with new program. Problem was fixed!

Sounds like a fuel filter problem, when the engine shuts down,the blockage settles, then when driving, the fuel pump draws the blockage back.......check fuel filters
