It has an almost new battery,so I don't think that's the problem. Thanks
Git an ignition tuneup. First turn key off on 3 times...on four try startn..if good then fuelpum p chec valve is bad. If no start then pump is bad
No spark to the spark plugs or no fuel pressure . If the the starter spins the engine over fast enough it's not the battery . Doesn't sound like you know a whole lot about car's . Do yourself a favor an take it to a qualified repair shop . Before you buy alot of unneeded parts .

Fuel pressure needs to be checked. WHile performing fuel pressure check, you should also check the integrity of the fuel pressure regulator. If you shut the engine offm, the fuel pressure should not drop. It should maintain the system pressure within about 5 psi. Also, is it worse hot or cold? If you sysle the key on and off two or three times before starting the vehicle, and then you try to start the vehicle and it starts with no delay, definately suspect a fuel pressure regulator or a fuel pump issue.

Do you have spark at the plugs? If so, how do they look, are they dry or wet and soaked with gas? The floats on these keihin carbs are prone to sticking after setting up awhile.
