My left blinker is the only blinker that flashes fast. it still works but is very quick blinking. what fuse do i replace?

Hi The blinker needs rewiring some how the existing cable must have been crushed or damaged either when your headlight broke or damaged it may be as simple as the earth wire on the headlight is also the same earth wire for you left front blinker. You obviously have a bad connection somewhere in the taillight. Some trucks it is a common problem and the taillight circuit board is the problem.

Replace the bulb for the blinker that is not flashing. The majority of flashers will blink fast if one bulb is burned out.

If the dash signal is blinking fast and the back of car signal is NOT working, then the problem is the bulb in the back of the car. The one that is not blinking needs to be replaced. The bulb that's not blinking is burned out, and this changes the resistance of the blinker circuit causing the blinker to flash rapidly on the dash indicator. FIX: Replace the burned out bulb in the back of the vehicle.

Note - Sometimes this situation causes the blinker module on the fuse panel to permanently change to a rapid or even a non-blinking state. In this case you must also replace the blinker device itself, which is on the fuse panel and looks like a small cylinder (or cube) less than one inch in diameter.

problem could be turn signal switch if power not going to one side.

when you have a fast blinking light the front or rear turn signal is probably blown and for your brake light check your fuse.

When its blinking fast look at both front and rear to verify which bulb isnt flashing. If the right works OK, then the flasher is OK. The flasher is INSIDE the front control module/integrated power module. If you cant find the problem, you may need a dealer to check it.

Have you checked to see if you have a blinker out? If you do, then thats your problem. If not, check your blinker fuses. Hope this helps, James Booth.

Most cars have separate flashers for each side now, and in fact, if it still blinks, even though faster than normal, there's probably a short circuit somewhere on the light wire where it's exposed and making contact with the frame of your car or some other metal part, which then causes the bulb to burn out.
