Hi we have a bmw e88 2008 I have just replaced the clutch and now have a letter A in a circle on the dash in orange guessing it to do with the stop start on the car how do I rest this light

Actually i think it means that your anti spin control is turned off. in my bmw the button for asc is located just in front of the gearstick. try pushing the button.

something in the airbag system is at fault. it could be the airbag(s) itself or any of the sensors that detect a crash to deploy the airbag. i would really take it into BMW and have it checked & repaired. the airbag(s) will not deploy with this light on so your safety is at risk if you are ever in an accident..

The orange light is probably the pads wear indicator showing that the pads are worn out and the cutting out probably you need your car serviced and tune.
