I have a 2004 Chrysler Pacifica that hestates upon take off if it reaches 3000 RPMs. I have to slowly drive till I get enough speed without reach 3,000 RPM so that it won't thump multiple times. M

Personal experience says you have a wiring harness that is grounding out and causing the codes...This is especially true if you have had the typical motor mount issues that are common on the Pacifica...Check the wiring harness behind the drivers side wheel...

Remove the front left wheel (drivers side)
-Remove the wheel well shield (just the front is all that is necessary...fold it back)

-Verify the vehicle ground is still intact (when the motor mount gives there is not enough slack in the ground wire and the wire will pull out of the grounding lug)

-Inspect the wiring harness that is around the transmission that goes to the PCM (when the motor mounts give they can crush and then rest on the harness and wear through the casing and then affect the individual wires...throwing codes...)

My dash board lights come on but car will not start

is your battery fully charged,do you have spark from plug wires, does it turn over, you chek distributor and coil, chek fuses, chek the starter you have power to starter, you mentioned nothing about it turning over or cranks??? chek these first,, check for gas , can you see or smell gas when you try to start, chek ground wire from battery, check for corrostion on starter wires and any broken wires or frayed wires. start with the battery and then chek evrything else process of elimation ,do one by one.

I have a 2004 Chrysler pacifica that would not start. We've had the battery tested and changed the starter. We've checked that there is power getting to the starter as well as the solenoid. We've also...

I have a 2007 chrysler Pacifica and it had the same problem. It would crank over but not start. Took some time to figure out but in the end the asd control wire that runs from the fuse box to the PCM was corroded in half about 5 inches from the fuse box. It would show 9 volts at the PCM but no continuity.

Car won't crank & makes a clicking noise when ignition is turned.

Is this the original battery? Have u had it tested? The no crank, clicking noise is classic dead battery symptoms, lights can still work, but not enough power to turn engine over. If it's the original battery, it's at the end of it's life cycle, and should be replaced. U can get the battery tested for free at any parts store.
