I just bought a 2018 traverse and I'm wondering why the auto stop/start feature only works part of the time? It might auto stop at one light, then not at the next. Is something wrong?

Brand new Traverse should be covered under the 3yr. / 36k bumper to bumper warranty. If it isn't much past the warranty bumper to bumper the dealership you purchased the vehicle from may "goodwill it" and go ahead and repair the issue but that is souly up to the shop management to honor something like that. They may repair it or if you have an extended warranty purchased during the purchase of the vehicle, they will honor that warranty. I hope this helps you in the issue. My 2011 Traverse LS that I just bought has a check engine light that came on 3 days after I bought it. Took it to my mechanic and it read timing chain issue... but it drives just fine. My mechanic reset...

I would lean to timing chain. they wear out. there is a recommended change in you owners book or look on web. the place you bought it does not want to repair.s. Most used cars are as is unless there is a written warranty.. Some states have state law requiring warranties in used cars. Check to see if you can return the car and tell them you changed your mind. hang in there. The longer they put you off the better their position is. You can file a small claims case if you feel that you are in the right.

2009 chevy traverse wont start after hooking amp up car was fine

OK. you had the battery disconnected. Here is what you do. Turn on the key. The security light will begin to flash. Wait (about 10 minutes) with the key in the ON position. The security light will stop flashing. TURN OFF the key. Then, turn on the key and start the car. Security system is supposed to prevent theft for a 10 minute delay. This usually discourages any thief. This will work, You just need to be patient with the 10 minutes. It seems like an hour when you wait ten minutes for that security light to stop flashing.

Auto Down window feature stopped working. Any ideas?

Try calibrating first,window up & hold switch for 3-4 seconds window down hold 3-4 seconds then back up & hold 3-4 seconds,check for the auto down to work if not then most likely the master switch is needed.
