SOURCE: Check Oil light stays on even after the oil has been changed

well, it is in the manual under engine oil. turn key to on, dont start. press gas pedel to the floor "slowly" 3 times within 5 seconds. if the change oil light flashes, its resetting. If not, repeat.. this worked for me.

SOURCE: How do I reset the oil change light in a 2008 Chevy Suburban

Try this: turn the key to the RUN position (don't start it), press the accelerator to the floor 3 times within 5 seconds. The oil life light should flash twice, indicating that it's been reset.

If you have steering wheel controls, you can navigate to where it says Oil Life and then hold the arrow down, that should also reset the oil life.

How do I reset change oil light on dash after changing oil & filter on 2014 Jeep Compass?

Normally it should reset itself. BUT if not-- try removing the positive side of the battery cable from the battery -wait a minute and reconnect it. this should cause the sensors to reboot .
