SOURCE: problem with opel zafira. driving along car
The garage you've taken it to must be incompetent if they knew of your fault and failed to locate it.
Modern engines are effectively computer controlled robots, so the fault you describe may have a number of causes. But from experience the most likely cause is either a loose wiring connector, a chafed or fractured wire or a failing ignition coil pack. Of those, the coil pack is most suspect, especially if the fault tends to appear only once the engine has warmed up. If you find that the car starting is difficult on a hot engine but fine when the engine is stone cold then it further suggests a failed coil pack.
Testing the coil pack properly means it must be tested under full load and that needs special equipment. In practice, the easiest test is to substitute a suspect coil pack with a known good one.
Please note that I stress the phrase "most likely". My suggestion cannot be a guaranteed solution as I have no access to your vehicle and cannot perform any diagnostic tests.
