Hi Rosario I'm assuming that your vehicle has 4 cylinder mode.
this fault you will need to take to a dealer. They will need to plug it into a diagnostic tester, this will tell them if any fault codes are present.
It could be a sensor fault or ECU or something unrelated to engine that is not reaching required specs for engine to go into 4 cylinder mode. This can only be diagnosed once information is gathered via a diagnostic tester.
You could spend vasts amounts of money by replacing parts from incorrect information.

Hi Ebony this sort of issue really needs to be seen to be diagnosed correctly. From what you have said I would say it may be a Thermostat or thermostat heater issue this is normally all housed together. Advise take it to Holdens Good luck.
