Hello;
There is an o-ring for a seal on the end of the tube. It is either missing or cut. Replace the o ring and make sure the end is smooth. Should fix your leak.

housing is "bondo" rific :) you can unscrew the three fancy little bits that are supposed to hold the housing in place but its a pain in the *** to pull out the bulbs. I am having same issue with my passenger side brake light. Any suggestions other than a shotgun would be helpful!! ;P

Most sensors and valves have a useful life of around 60 - 80K miles. I would'nt think it was an unusual thing to have one go out at 55K. Mike
