TPMS Tire Pressure Monitoring System

Check ALL including the spare tire for proper air pressure. If all is well then check the fuse for the TPMS module. If all is well there, off to the dealer you may have to go.

Disconnect the battery and take it to the dealer in the morning. Anything needing repaired on your 2011 had better be under warranty,

SOURCE: why TPMS light stays on in my CRV

After checking and adjusting the tire pressures, The vehicle must be driven at speeds above 28 Mph (45 km/h) for approximately 20 minutes for the TPMS to receive the updated information from the tire pressure sensors in the tires. It will then reset itself.

If you have driven the vehicle, and the indicator will still not go off, then you need to take your car in for service so the malfunction in the TPMS system can be properly diagnosed.

How do I access 2007 Honda CR-V interior fuse box? Do you have to remove the panel in front of the fuse box? I can see the fuse box but access is most difficult

Hi,

please look on the left-side of the steering wheel just under the dashboard. That should be where the fusebox is located. If necessary please use a light to check for any words directing you in what tool to use to open the fusebox.

Otherwise, you can check the table of contents in the car manual for fuse box access details for your car.

Thank you.

Tpms light stays on, why

Hi , I work in the tire industry and see this prob occur from time to time .If After trying the solutions posted above your problem persist you may need to reprogram your tpms system completely . You don't necessaraly have to go to the dealership for l this . I recommended you take it to a pro tire shop as Dealers themselves usually outsource these type of problems to local tire shops anyway. Have the tire shop also check each sensor individually to make sure they are still sending signal because Sensors are battery powered and eventually have to be replaced on most vehicles .

Why is the tpms on

I'm sorry to say this to you but you can not fix a TPMS light by yourself, a shop will have to do it for you. The TPMS system measure your psi in your tires.
reason why it come on and fix:
-One or more of the four sensor in the tires goes bad. Sensor will have to be replace and an ID learn will have to be done to the car,
-Ran your car with low psi in tires(one or more tires) too long.(28psi min). Light will have to be clear use a scan tool.

good luck

Why is the TPMS light on?

Probably because the air pressure in one (or more) of the tires has gone below their recommended pressure (or at least below the "warning" level). Tires do slowly loose pressure and remember that when it is cold outside, the pressure will go down.
So, check and re-fill all tire pressures. I can't remember if the TPMS light will go out on its own. You may have to take it into the dealer to have them reset it.
