-Check all the fluid, oil, water and gas.
-Make sure battery is fully charge.
-Hands crank couple turn before start. make sure it not seize.
-You should be good to go.

hi its rob was it running befor u replaced the pump if its petrol take out the spark plugs maken sure not to mess up the timeing give them a clean .if its deizil prime the system o open the injectors

My 2001 was doing the same thing. I replaced the fuel filter, fuel pump, nothing helped. I finally changed the fuel pressure regulator and it has run like a brand new one ever since. Mine was flooding while it was sitting idle!
