Is this from the actual engine or a pipe near that part of the engine? If is the actual engine it won't be fuel leaking.
If it is a pipe try this. Wipe the pipe clean as best you can and check the connectors at both ends of the pipe and any other pipes near it. Tighten the clamps a SMALL amount and recheck for leaks after the vehicle has been used.
If it still leaks you probably have a crack or a puncture hole in one of the pipes. Keeping it clean and dry might help you find where it's leaking from more accurately.

When a lamp illuminates and causes a different circuit lamp to illuminate it usually means a bad earth/ground.
Basically the lamp with the defective earth is getting it's earth connection through the other circuit and thus causing that lamp to illuminate.
Your first steps should be to check the stop light lamp holders for cleanliness and good contact and then the nearest earth/ground point for the stop lamps.

check to ensure that coolant is not leaking into the oil. I would change the head gasket as so as possible. the reason it appears to stop leaking is because the components get warm and expand.

There is a good chance that this is caused by your gas cap not being on tightly enough. This happened on my compass, and I noticed that when you close the gas door the plastic strap that connects the cap to the door can get wedged and loosen the cap. The light will go away eventually if the cap is tight and there are no other leaks.
