Weres the location of the inertia switch on a 2004 range Rover I can't find it anywhere and I've chased the fuel line all over the car please post pics of location please

if you mean the inertia switch i think it is located in the lower a post/ footwell area not sure which side, to reset you just press the button on the top.

you have zero fuel pressure, is that it? did you check that first?

do you have 12vdc top the pump cranking> yes/no,

there is no electric fuel switch, period, only the Std, fuel pump relay
that PCM operates only.

that leaves fuel line switches (inertial fuel valves, real name)
and the fuel diagram, shows, no such part.! it's not there, in USA car
is it a USA car?

Relays are located in the "under hood relay/fuse panel" on the passenger side between the radiator overflow and the battery. Remove the lid and on the underside of the lid you will find the diagram. The fuel pump relay will be indicated by a graphic of a fuel filling station pump. The relay itself is yellow. Also check the pump fuse, located in the same relay box and if needed check your inertia cutoff switch located in the passenger footewell. There is a panel to the right just under the glove box. It has a popout access door but its much easier to remover this small panel and providing clear access to the switch. Push down on the rubber cover on top of the switch. If it is engaged you are ok here. If when you push down you hear a click then the inertia cutoff was switched somehow and this cuts fuel supply. These switches have plastic internal parts and dont take much to fail. Hope this helps. Happy to provide further suggestions if you wish to repost more info. Good luck!

The INERTIA CUT OFF SWITCH is located in the front passenger footwell. Under the glove box, against the outside wall is a small triangular panel. There is a small pop-out access panel built into it and if you look close you will see a gas pump icon molded into the plastic. You can reach the switch thru the pop-out with a forefinger but that is about it. Much easier to remove the small panel and have easy access to the complete switch for any troubleshooting. Good luck. 1 replace the fuel filter 2 check the fuel pump to see if pumping fuel

Check the inertia switch that is below the left front seat attached to the seat base rear cross-member. If it has been activated, it needs to be reset by pressing down on the button. If it does not seem to reset, remove and check the contact for continuity with an ohmmeter. If you do not get continuity, replace the inertia switch.

Hi. The filter will be mounted underneath the vehicle. you will need to raise the vehicle, and support it carefully. Once raised, you will be able to locate the filter. It will be just to the right or left side of the fuel tank, mounted on a bracket, in between the fuel line. be sure to disconnect the negative battery post cable, and relive the fuel pressure, before removing the fuel lines form the filter.
