SOURCE: 1981 corvette blower motor getting

Check the blower speed control resistor pack, it is located in the air stream near the blower motor, that is most likely the cause of the inop blower, but be warned if the blower is drawing to much current due to wear the resistor will fail again, I believe the connector has four wires, 2 are heavy Gage

SOURCE: 350 Chevy starter wiring diagram needed

IF YOU HAVE A POINTS TYPE DISTRIBUTER, THE WIRING WILL BE: TO ENERGIZE THE STARTER SOLENOID A LARGE, ABOUT A NUMBER 12 OR 14 GAUGE WIRE WILL GO TO THE INNER MOST SMALL TERMINAL ON THE STARTER SOLENOID. IT MAY BE PURPLE IN COLOR. THE SECOND SMALLER WIRE SHOULD GO TO THE OUTER SOLENOID TERMINAL AND GO FROM THERE TO THE + TERMINAL ON THE IGNITION COIL. THIS IS FOR BY PASSING THE RESISTOR WIRE FROM THE STARTER IGNITION SWITCH. THE LARGER BATTERY CABLE WILL GO TO THE UPPER TERMINAL ON THE STARTER SOLENOID. THERE MAY BE AN ADDITIONAL BATTERY FEED WIRE TAKE OFF FROM THE STARTER BATTERY TERMINAL POST ON THE SOLENOID FOR OTHER ACCESSORIES. THIS TYPE OF SYSTEM (POINTS TYPE) WAS TYPICALLY DONE AWAY WITH IN 1975 WHEN THE HEI DISTRIBUTOR CAME OUT.

SOURCE: My 1999 Ford F250 Light Duty Truck has a corroded

the ground cable is just that. as long as it connects from the battery to the engine and another cable from the engine to body or the battery to the body, thats OK.. Now the 2 positive cables goes from battery to the starter solenoid on the fender and another from the battery to the starter itself. there is a red wire (smaller) that goes from the solenoid to the stater .....there is a fusible link at the starter solenoid, make sure that the solenoid has power. if no power ..then the fuse links may be burned out. if you connect battery power to the small terminal on the solenoid the starter should spin the engine over IF all other wires are ok.

How to change a starter on 1985 corvette

Not too much trouble. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Remove big nut from starter selonoid and remove battery cable along with any other wires on the big post. Remove the purple wire from the "s" terminal on the selonoid. Remove the 2 bolts that hold the starter to the engine block, hold starter up while removing bolts. Lower starter carefully. Some starters have a bracket at the rear end of the starter , if this is one just remove the bolt holding it to the block and lower it with the starter.

Lost all power all of a sudden 1977 corvette

do you know what fuse links are,and what they look like? usually down at the starter, the 2 or 3 hot wires besides the main battery cable all connect they feed the power to the fuse box, ignition and accessories, they have black square rubber blocks on them usually 3 or 4 inches from the starter they are built in fuses in the wires themselves check continuity throught them,if you already know about them ,the head light switch and the ignition switch are the first place i would look ,especially if they are original

1986 corvette electrical problems.

since you have power in both states its obvious that you have a ground wire problem this is very common on vettes due to fiberglass body your gonna have to take dash pad out and trace down both grounds on these 2 areas till you find the loose or broken wires theres a huge amount of ground wires from those locations on a block between the battery and firewall under the hood use a volt meter make sure you have it grounded and search the circuits 1 at a time ..i also have an 86 vette and have had similar problems if your not a good electrician youl just be pulling your hair out,, another way is,, if you cant beat em join em ,, try pulling a new wire to the effected circuits from a ground point on the fire wall make sure battery is grounded properly reattach any broken or loose ground straps you find around engine compartment these are braided bare wires going from engine to frame and from battery to fire wall etc hope this helps you im lucky i have some electrical knowledge because it can be frustrating
