SOURCE: replace rear turn signal bulb on 2007 H3 - driver side
1st::Unscrew the 2 screws that hold the light in.
2nd::Slide your hand behind the light and pull the light towards you. Make sure that you pull it straight, as if the h3 was driving away from you, so you dont break the two pins that are holding the light in...PULL ONE PIN AT A TIME!!!
Dont pull it to far away from the hummer as there are wires attached that need to stay attached.
3rd::turn the back of the bulb to unlock it from the lens...
4th:: slide the bulb out and remove thebulb by pulling it straight out.
5th::put the new bulb in, lock it back into the lens, then insert it back where you got it from,...
MAKE SURE you move the wires out of the way when you put the lens back in...they will get in the way and can be damaged.
SOURCE: Plastic Guide rail on sunroof broke
I just purchased a used yukon xl. Both plastic rails are broken.
Solution: Drill out the blind rivet. Start with 1/8 drill bit and remove the head off. The plastic broken part can now be removed.
Install a blind rivet through the new plastic rail and use the rivet gun to squeeze the rivet in place. Make sure it is the right length.
get a grip gage and determine the right rivet for it.
very easy job.
SOURCE: my signal lights quit working on the left side of
Sounds like a ground wire - probably under the front fender around the lights - or is the unit in the steering column. Is a big job to replace if tilt and telescopic. Find a mechanic.
One possibility is the wrong bulb is in the socket or not in socket properly.
Check all fuses first.
Final - could be the clip on the steering column under the dash- You can test with a meter if the switch is bad. Just have to know what wires.
I would suggest that it is the switch in the column.
Flasher units are always in one of 2 places, under glove box on pass side or in loom under steering wheel close to fuse panel.
On Sonoma it is under the lower dash panel, just to the left of the cigarette lighter. To get to it you must remove the ashtray. Then remove screws holding the plastic panel that is below the dashboard. You will see two round "can " shaped flasher units. The one on the right is for the signal lights. The one on the left is for the emergency flashers.
1 hex nut under ashtray and 2 torx to left of that. No need to completely remove the lower dash panel you took the screws out of. Just bend it down a little to get your hand in. You will see the 2 flasher pods.
