Where is the coil pack for cylinder 5 located at for a 2002 lincoln ls

Hi, welcome to FixYa.com my name is Shawn and I will be answering your question.

They have an individual coil for every plug on this engine. Do you have a check engine light on if so if you retrieve the code it should be a P030X misfire code the X being a number between 1 and 8 identifying the cylinder that is misfiring. #1 being the passenger side front - #4 passenger rear #5 driver front #8 driver rear. They go in order 1-4 passenger side 5-8 driver side. If this is a 6 cylinder then coil 1 would be the passenger side front coil 3 would be the passenger side rear. Coil 4 would be the Driver side front and 6 would be the driver side rear. The coils are located under the center cover on the valve coves.

I hope my assistance helped you and resolved your concern, if you need further assistance please ask.
