My ac on my 06 chevy impala clicks on and off could it be over charged

You just remove the AC compressor and replace it with an AC Bypass Pulley. The belt and routing remains the same.

I have the same problem.. when AC is put on full. Sounds like relay clicking. Have not diagnosed cause yet.

There are two ports on the ac lines with black caps. One is larger than the other to help prevent you from connecting to the wrong side of the compressor.

Lucky you! I have the same issue with my '06 Impala LT. It is run off the serpentine belt and it is at the top front of the engine. I plan to replace mine next weekend so I'll take notes, and let you know how it is done and what to watch out for. Follow the ac lines from the ac compressor,and look for the large line,it will have the ac service port on it,it will be the only one your charge hose will fit,if this was helpful,please rate,thank you.

there is a large evaporative leak. keep away form ottozoo, they dont have the brain power to actually diagnose a light bulb., their job is to sell parts., if they sell you the wrong parts tough.Take it to a qualified repair shop that does a lot of GM work or the dealer.

Probably radio if fuses are not blown,see owners manual for fuse locations.should be 2,those model gm radios are natorious for internal failure. If radio is problem do keywork search for LKQ or Greenleaf,both supply low mileage parts including radios with good warranty,will ship anywhere.Insurance companies use them.

You need to follow the ac lines from the ac compressor to the ac condensor to the fire wall behind the engine where it goes to the heater box.There are two connections,both at differant locations,a low side that has a screw on red or blue cap with the letter L on it and a high side with a cap that has the letter H on it.The refridgerant goes into the low side.Hope this helps.

your alternator may be over charging.
