Where is #6 ignition coil and is there a diagram of the engine to see how to replace

number six is on the v6 ls is on the drivers side closest to the firewall. To replace the # 6 coil on the V6 remove the plastic appearance cover. there are two little plastic screws that hold it on if u press the little circle in on the screws they come off. then u remove the #6 coil with a 8mm socket it only has one bolt and pull it off it has a wire connector u have to press it together next to the wire and it slides out. then put the new one in. I would replace the spark plug too.

2001 Lincoln LS coil replacement

its not a easy job, but you need to get the gasket so it wont leak, theirs some tutorials online, if you dont want them to burn out, dont put the covers back on when you change them, it creates a suction and heat which makes oil spill and burn the coils

It is on the Driver side of engine in between the COP's (Coil on plugs) simply unplug the wire use a 19 or 3/4 deep well socket and unscrew it and put it new one... The whole process should only take 10-15 minutes.
