SOURCE: My Xbox 360 wireless controller battery pack broke!

Well as you probably know all there is to a rechargable battery pack from xbox is 2 generic batteries that connect to the plate that connects to your controller. I recently took mine apart to try and fix it because it was not working at all. If you still have the original battery case that takes the AA batteries i would go out and buy a rechargable battery base and charge the cheap *** batteries that xbox uses in their packs. Then use the batteries that came out of the pack and put them in the original harness. Or you could just use the ones you buy.

Well you need some know how to do this, if the dealer told you the clutch packs are bad, you can try to replace them yourself, the only saving is the job cost. think about it.

SOURCE: rear end whine on my 2002 ford f150 fx4 supercrew

Could be low on differential fluid, leaking from the wheel seal. The Differential gears could also be worn from low on fluid or ears was not lined up and have worn it self out.

Service the rear end, inspect the fluid's condition and measure the any play in the gears in the rear end replace is worn out.

You may buy some time by running 50% to 100% Lucas oil treatment in your rear differential. Good luck and hope your differential is not to badly worn.

Remove rear bench seat

I don't know about your exact make, but every bench rear seat bottom I ever messed with removed as follows:

Get your fingers under the bottom of the seat cushion, and give a sharp tug upwards.
It should be held in by spring clips, which will release with the upward tug.
With the front of the seat cushion slightly raised (so the spring clips can clear the brackets), it should then pull straight forward and out.

To re-install, push the cushion back under the seat back (with the front slightly raised), and with both hands, give a sharp push downwards to latch the spring clips.

2006 nissan murano steering wheel audio control buttons working intermittently - work with downwards action but not always upwards

My guess would be the internal contact strips for the buttons are dirty, or are not making correct contact with the opposing piece. You're going to need to take it apart. Be Careful though - you don't want to deploy the airbag by mistake. Disconnect the battery, then wait 1/2 hr for the capacitor to completely discharge. Please check elsewhere for the actual procedure for your vehicle - this is the 'generic' method.

87 vw golf clutch pedal pulls break pedal when depressed

There is nothing connecting the pedals. The clutch uses a cable to actuate the push-rod while the brake pedal is directly connected to the brake master cylinder and entirely different universe for both of them. I don't even recall it sharing a pivot shaft or return spring.

Rear axle leaking

Block the front tires. Break the rear lugs loose. Jack up the rear of the truck at the center if possible. remove the wheels & brake drums. Remove the brake shoes, return springs & all the other hardware. Remove the differential cover & drain oil. If you have a posi the next step sucks. You need to remove the threaded pin from the housing & remove the axle retaining clips. All the while, being carefull of the spring in the posi unit. If no posi, then same procedure, minus the "pucker factor". After the axle is out, take a large flat blade screw driver or pry bar & pop the seal out. Keep in mind the axle bearing is probably gone too , so that's another procedure. Keep it apart, you'll be glad you did.
