SOURCE: super-unleaded or premium gas for 2006 lexus ls 430

Well, of course premium is HIGHLY recommended, but it is not necessary.
You can use regular grade in your engine and it will not harm it at all. Modern engine management systems have knock sensors that detect lower grade fuel and make the necessary adjustments to your timing and fuel delivery systems.
All you will notice is slightly slower acceleration and a slight drop in engine horsepower.

Hope this helps...

SOURCE: can I use regular unleaded gas for the MDX?

yes, but it will lower the fuel mileage and cause a loss of overall performance, the trade off for the price is hardly worth it.

SOURCE: why does my 87 run better on regular gas than

the car was built to run on 87 octane, unless you have done engine work( raised compression ) or reprogrammed the pcm run regular, you will probably get better fuel economy also

Testimonial: "it seems to even run better on 87 ethanol should i keep using the ethanol gas"

SOURCE: I have a 1996 Caddy

Not if that has the Diesel engine in it that was popular at that time. If it is a gasoline engine you really have no choice but the minimum octane recommended in an 87 Octane which is typically the lowest grade of fuel. However, as a minimum I would use 89 Octane. There is no real need to use the high octane, or most expensive typically 91 to 93 octane, but the car will get better mileage and performance from the 89 Octane fuel. Typically if you get 28 miles to the gallon, highway. on 87 Octane you will get 30 to 32 miles to the gallon on 89 octane which justifies the extra cost. There is no significant increase in mileage using high octane. If that is a diesel engine the cost of converting it to regular fuel is not cost effective and you would be better served purchasing a new vehicle since you would have to replace the motor and the on board computer to do it. If you were considering switching to propane with a diesel engine that is actually easier to do but again not a cheap option in the short run and depending on the actual mileage on the motor you may not experience a long term pay off depending on what has to be done.

What petrol can i use for 2006 VZ? ULP or E10. Please advise thanks.

Do not use E10 or any other ethanol blends in your VZ Commodore.

Use only any of the 3 other unleaded fuels available which do not contain any ethanol - regular unleaded, the 95/96 octane or the 98 octane Premium.

I mistakenly put a regular gas in it when its an UNLEADED FUEL only model an automatic 1994 geo tracker

Hi!!
At the pump, when it says Regular, it means Regular Unleaded Gasoline, the one that says Super, is Super Unleaded Gasoline, the only difference between the two is the octane rating. Both will work just fine on your vehicle.

I just bought it and need to no which gas is best for it out of the three types. and if i put regular gas in, will that break it!

when you open the gas flap to put gas in it should say "unleaded fuel only" or " premium unleaded fuel only". If it says premium only use premium. If it just says unleaded then you can use normal unleaded gas. But some stations have a lower grade unleaded gas. Use 88 octane or better.

Right gas

Regular unleaded (87 octane) is the correct grade.
