SOURCE: Maintenance light is blinking for a while in 2005 honda accord

To reset your light do the following:

1-Push maintence reminder button in and hold it in. (thats the button near the speedo on the insturment cluster)
2-Turn the ignition to the on position while holding button in.
3-Wait several seconds until the light goes out, then let go of the button.
It is now reset

Now this is the maintaince light and not the check engine light correct? If then just follow above and do that.

Also if you don't use Fram oil filters you can go 5000miles on your oil and be safe. Even honda says you can do 7000miles but 5000 gives you a buffer if you need to go over.

SOURCE: reset maintenance light

If I remember correctly, on the dash you have a select button. Hold the button down then turn the key on, until the maintenance light blinks and goes out. Turn the key off then back on and your light should be out.

SOURCE: 1992 Honda Accord (LX) Instrument Cluster Replacement

Same as 2 dr, or a stick.
There are bezel screws that hold the plastic trim (pointing up towards the windshield), you nee to remove these 2 screws. The bottom section is clipped in. Tilt the steering wheel down as far as it will go.
Once you have the bezel off, there are 4 screws holding the cluster to the dash. Remove them and gently pull the cluster forward. Reach around (expect to get scraped knuckles) and unclip the speedo cable, and two large multipin connectors. Don't force anything.
Getting the cluster out after this point is a test of your patience. It only seems to come out one particular way.

SOURCE: 2005 honda accord brake light does not work

have you checked the switch under the dash at the top of the brake pedal?? they come loose so may only need adjusting ........the pin on the switch has to be clear from the pedal to work if it still makes contact when you press pedal down then that will be the prob, if it still does not work when pin is clear of plate , take cable of switch and bridge them together if that works it the switch....... if still no lights fault is in the wiring loom/ relay or light unit

You have an internal transmission failure, have a transmission repair shop look at this and be prepared to have it removed for repair and rebuilding.

Wondering how to reset maintenance light on a 2005 Honda Accord

Look in the owner's manual. It has it in there how to reset it. Usually it just has to do with selecting the oil quantity select and holding it down....or cycling the ignition a few times. Check your manual though....it will have it in there.

ABS indicator stays on after changing battery - 2005 Honda Accord

Try unhooking your negative battery cable for about a minute. And the re-inslalling it. If that doesn't reset it , it was probably just a coincidence that the battery amd the speed sensor went bad at the same time.

Need to reset the Maintenance Required Light on 2005 Honda Accord

Look in to the owners manual. There is a chapter around oil change or dash indicators section. There is a step by step way to turn it off. Find it in the book and you will have it off in no time.

91 honda accord lx

This is a reminder that you are almost due for an oil change, or other maintenance. It will soon turn red, it's determined by mileage driven since it was last reset. You can reset it just by inserting the car key into a slot, which I believe is under the tachometer. By inserting the key, it will reset to green. It actually isn't a light, just green, yellow or red that turns over like the odometer at specified mileage. Let me know if you have any trouble finding it. Curt
