SOURCE: my BMW 325xi started to brake automatically

It sounds like a malfunctioning caliper. Look through your wheels and see if the rotors are bluing (excessive heating).

SOURCE: I have 2 Bmw's. The one 330i is manual and the

check for a wet ecu...
read below on the e36

the ecu compartment is under the windshield on the passenger side on E36

you gain acess to it under the hood....
this compartment gets wet, the ecu lays on a flat surface in that
compartment.

the bottom side of the circuit board gets wet and starts corrosion.

remove the ecu, take the bottom plate off, clean the bottom of the circuit
board with alcohol and a soft tooth brush.

you should be able to see the signs of corrosion or conductive build up.

this gunk bridges solder points doing all sort s of wierd things to your
car, including false sensor readings from asc/abs controllers and other
sensors....

all the way to engine failure and worst case burnt and shorted wiring
harness.

I'm on my 3rd ecu, took me and the repair boys a few years to figure this
one out.

BTW: i would get that ecu mounted above that flat surface, use some sort
of standoff to raise it so that it is not laying in the wet.

cheapest oil you can buy say a petrol/diesel 10/40 ,change oil every 6000m and oil filter every third oil change ,then it will last forever ,use expensive long life oil with so called long service interval and the inside of the engine will clagg up and kill it

The common cause would be the power steering pump, it is rather low on fluid due to a leak in the system or it is defective.

2007 BMW 750 IL I will not switch gears automatic transmission. Pops itself back in the park after and drive it will reverse but Will Not Drive forward. Before this all happened I felt slipping

Could be worn friction bands, could be damaged torque convertor, could be low on oil pressure, could be an oil leak causing low oil. Etc etc etc.
Take it to an automatic transmission expert for diagnosis.

Hi please help my BMW e46 318i I have replaced the engine. So I tested the car it ran then we drove everything was OK then I switched it of now I doesn't start any more

Either the battery or starter is defective.
Battery with no load should be 12.6 volts or more.
BMW starters usually lasts as the engine life.
If battery and starter are OK, and car won't start, check the remote switch on the car key.
To start a BMW, the on-board computer reads the codes stored in the remote key. Replace dead battery in remote switch in case it can no longer unlock/lock the doors.
Car will not start if shifter is set to Reverse.
Other problems could be diagnosed using scanner.

from your brief description i would say your alternator has failed, which means the car can no longer recharge the battery or supply battery to the car itself.

Accelerate Problem BMW 1992 318i

a bad camshaft position sensor or a vacuum leak. Most likely sensor. Is your check engine light on? you can test sensors with an ohmmeter to determine if a sensor is good or not. It wouldn't be bad to check and make sure your coil packs aren't bad by checking each plug for spark. You can lay one plug and wire at a time one engine so end probe of plug is fairly next to metal. Have someone crank while you watch for spark.

Automatic steering wheel feature

Since both problems surfaced at the same time...this indicates they are on the same circuit. Since both features would not quit working at once, I'd bet the farm that neither is getting power. I'd start at the fuse box, If all good there, maybe a relay. Also check all other power functions if these solutions don't work to see if anything else is effected.

Dsc hydraulic unit failure

I have the same fault , that has just occured out of the blue only 38,000 on clock.
Drives perfectly and brakes fine too.
Warning light indicates Suspension Stability control
but diagnosed as yours at the same cost.
Apparently quite a common fault with series 1 , but BMW do not tell you that !!
