A large belt on my 2002 fiat doblo 1.9 jtd has snapped. Battery light has come on and power steering has gone.. It does not have air conditioning. Is there a diagram to show how to replace this belt?

DONT drive the car until you find out which belt has snapped! You need to know if its the timing belt or the auxiliary belt. Do the grooves on the belt go across like teeth or along the length of the belt as grooves? The toothed belt is the Timing belt so you need to get that sorted by a mechanic.
The auxiliary belt, grooved along the length, drives a pump for the power steering and the alternator for charging the battery. Below is the best diagram i could find with the information available.

This is why they called them 'Tappets', in the days before they called them 'hydraulic valve lifters'.

Make sure your oil is clean and at the correct level. If it continues, the valve lifters need shimming to take out the 'lash', the gap between the lifter and the valve stem.

I sent my Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD for a car wash. When I fetched it later on, the battery was dead and the power steering is not working. What could the problem be?

Power steering won't work unless the car is running. The pump works via a belt connected to the engine thus pumping the fluid through the system.

As far as the battery, jump it. Have the car wash company jump it. They probably have a battery jump box as I'm sure they had your doors open while cleaning your car. Yours, more than likely, isn't the first car to have a dead battery at their business.
