Having checked everything else I swapped bulb holders. Bingo. Problem moved. I bought a package of bulb holders with bulbs and swapped them out. All is swell.

SOURCE: replace headlight bulb in 2000 dodge durango sxt 4.7l

There are 3 machine bolts that hold the big white part of the head light to the truck. These bolts are black and I think 7/16 but not completely sure, maybe 12mm or so. You'll need sockets, ratchet and a really long extension. Two regular extensions won't reach the bottom one. You get to all three of them from the front of the truck straight in. Once those are out, the head light assembly pulls forward and can dangle from about 10-12 inches of extra wire. This is attached to the bulb harness. 1/3 of a turn and the wire and bulb come out of the head light. Pop the new bulb back in WITH GLOVES, do not touch those halogens. And put it back together. You can use peanut butter in a deep well or regular socket to hold the screws in to get them started, or the rag thing.
It took me 14,607 hours to find these bolts and about 10 minutes to do the job! Hope it helps out!

SOURCE: How do you get the rear brake drum off?

2003 dodge neon sxt

Here are the steps;
) Park on a level surface. safety
) Block all the other wheels. safety
) Put the vehicle gearshift in PARK. safety
) Release the handbrakes.
) Slightly break the rear wheel lug nuts seal while on ground. Just loosen do not remove.
) Jack up the rear wheel.
) Check to see the wheel will turn so you know the brake shoes are not binding against the drum.
) Now you can remove the lug nuts and wheel.
) Remove the drum. Some times the drum has frozen on with rust. You may have to use a hammer and hit along the drum near the outer edges to break it free.

Where do I find my check engine fuse on my 2003 dodge durango

If your talking about check engine indicator, see the other indicator lamps under the check engine? They all should use the same voltage, same fuse. If the other indicator lamps work, the problem isn't a fuse. Just my opinion.
I don't know if that bulb is replaceable? Maybe a faulty instrument cluster?

Lu11I have an '03 Durango SXT (4.7 L. / 8 cyl.) with almost 130,000 mi. Recently, engine light came on. I tightened gas cap; light still on after a week. What could it be? What should I do?

Stop by any good local parts store and have them do a fault scan. Scan will identify what triggered light. Most parts stores do this FREE

2003 Durango. Is the wiring for the brakes lights straight from the switch at the brake pedal? Just the right side works

if its a single taillight ie stop and signal light are the same then the stop light runs thru the signal light circuit in the steering column

I have dodge durango 2003,my brake lights doesn't work, i all ready change all bulbs, fuses, and swicht and the back light doesnt work, just only work the brake light on the top of the rear gate.

Do you have a hitch on this vehicle? If so, check to make sure the line didn't come unplugged from the wiring running back the hitch wiring. You may ahve to drop the spare tire down to do this.

Brake lights out; bulb, fuse okay

Sounds like you need to replace your brake light switch.  It is located on your brake pedal and you should be able to pick it up for around $20-$30 at your local parts store.
