Unfortunately, many questions remain unanswered on FIXYA for a number of reasons which I won't detail here.

I will copy and past a link to your questions here, if you can see this.

How do I send a question to Jeff Armer when I can't find an answer from him

You are referring to me James, and yet you are not taking my advice, firstly by posting follow-up questions as a new question, and I told you how to contact Jeff, just click Comment UNDER what he wrote to you. And this NEW post should be UNDER what I wrote to you by clicking COMMENT under it.

Posting an answer as a follow-up doesn't work on Fixya because posts are not threaded by User. This question has no context to any previous questions and answers.

The correct way is to click COMMENT under the answer of the person you wish to reply to, in this case our Expert, Steve Pack.

Here is that post again, this is where you should be.

https://www.fixya.com/cars/t29933665-heated_seats_03_navigator

And this is your question where Jeff Armer replied. Click Comment under his answer.

https://www.fixya.com/cars/t29932445-driver_side_power_seat_2003_navigator

Here is your full posting history. You get to it by clicking your name on the upper right of the page to the left of where it shows 'Ask a Question'.

https://www.fixya.com/users/james-i-york

This website only works if you use it correctly. I also told you this is the reason to do it the right way

One major benefit of doing it the right way is that Steve/Jeff would get a Notification that someone had replied and needed further help. Doing it your way, it would be pure luck if he saw it. I came across a post made in a similar way referring to me by name and it was made over a year previously!!

Where is my answer.

I clicked on your highlighted name to look at your previous posts. Is the question about a vacuum cleaner? Yada responded to your post, asking if this was about a car or truck?
On the site, is your name at top right of page? If so, click on your name it'll show, home--my account, whatever.
If you asking about a vacuum cleaner, I'm afraid I'd have to look at it or at least the owners manual.

Don't get this site I've answered questions and don't see any activity or points

Glad to have another future expert on the line. When you answer, for maximum points and maximum interaction, use the ALL UNANSWERED option. That way you are not answering questions that are already answered. Also, if you try to work under an area of expertise, you will find that many of the questions are relatively old. You can see at the bottom of the question the date it was posted. Some of the ones you've answered are almost three years old. Those folks no doubt have moved on. That doesn't mean that answering the question isn't needed; someone else may see it and it will help them. If you are looking for fast points though, skip the categories and just skim down the ALL UNANSWERED list. These are posted most recent first, and then backward. They are worth the most points. You'll find that attaching pictures, links, and videos get you extra points. Have fun and experiment a bit.

The comment section was answered by Peter Zapp but I cannot find his solution, can you please tell me how I find his answer? Thank you

You can click on his name and look down the list of questions he has answered to find yours. Or the question where you asked and he answered should be in your profile.
For some reason the website is posting questions and answers more than once this week.
