You can check the oil cap under the hood of your vehicle and it may say the viscosity needed. Also, look in the glovebox and see if you can locate your owner's manual. If not, search for it online. Last resort, call the dealership for the make of your vehicle and ask the parts department.
Hope this was helpful.
That all depends on what vehicle it is for. There are several types of oil, several sizes and types of filters, and bigger engines can take a lot more oil compared to some little 'city cars'.
On what? Need make model year and engine type

Manufacture suggest you use 5w20 oil and the oil filter most common one used is a Fram Filter

look in your owners manual for your truck long as you still have it . and see what is the recommended oil weight for that truckn or if you do not have manual . sometimes they have it printed right on oil filler cap . but like the other person said oil brand is up to you . lots of times you can goto the parts store and they have the recommended oil weight for that truck right in computer and how many quarts of oil
