Air bag light on and cannot turn bags back on please help
Check the plugs and sockets under the seats, they tell the airbag system if there are occupants and if the readings are wrong to the airbag ecu it disables itself and lights the warning lamp, clean the plugs and sockets or sometimes I have soldered the wires to get decent contact (one at a time)
All the Citroen and peugeots have a weakness in the wiring under the seat, there are yellow plugs and sockets that go to the seat belt, it detects if the belt is latched but after time and adjusting the seat the contacts become unreliable, sometimes pushing them together and cable tying works, others the contacts need cleaning and tightening.
check the wiring under the seats, this is common the contacts in the plug get bad and when the seat moves they go open and the system sees and the warning light comes on and the airbags disable.
