It's an easy job to do yourself. You will need two sockets, (i think they are 9mm and 10mm). You will need to remove the entire spoiler the light is mounted into.
Open the tailgate and remove the trim behind the 3rd brake light. This will give you access to the four bolts holding the spoiler to the tailgate. Close the tailgate and lift the spoiler free. Unclip the wires and lift the spoiler off the car. The whole light unit is held in with two bolts. Unbolt, drop it out and fit the new one. Before refitting the spoiler, reconnect the wires and test the brake light works. Bolt the spoiler back into place. Refit the inside trim. Job done.

Yes you have to check your pressure with a mechanical gauge first. If the pressure reading is good replace the oil pressure sending unit. They are known to go bad, and oil pumps going bad is rare.

Why does my 2007 chrysler pacifica gets stuck in 1st gear

You should first take it & have someone hook it up to a scanner & if it`s not the solenoid which is a common problem, then it`s something mechanical. Let me know.

Why won't my replacement 3rd brake light work?

The 3rd brake light does not flash with the flashers. It works independently and only with the brake pedal. Have someone step down on the brake pedal while you check to see if the light comes on.

Pacificia surgeing

vacuum leak probably. Is your check engine light on? If so go take it to get its codes read, that will tell you the problem with it. Auto supply stores will usually read your codes for free.

Gear shift stuck in park, cannot get it out, 2007 chrysler 300 rear wheel drive .... no chrysler dealership close by ... pruchased from Mission Chrsyler, bankrupted .. what can I do

Look under the dash, on the brake pedal arm. There are one or two switches that activate brake lights and/or shift unlock. Check for loose mounting nut or a missing rubber nubber. Is the brake pedal coming all the way back up? Look on the floor for something not usually found there. These switches are adjustable and it may be as simple as adjusting them. Have a helper look for brake lights on and shift lever unlocked while you push and release the switches with your finger. Depress the brake pedal to get it out of the way. Remember to set the park brake first. Could just be a bad switch or loose connector. Check fuses and the bulbs. Is shifter fully in Park?

If all else fails, and your shifter is on the center console, you can disassemble the console to the point where you have access to the shifter mechanism and possibly remove the soleniod pin that is locking the shifter in park. Good luck!

Brake light switch can be checked with a test light. Since the 3rd brake light is not working That's probably the problem.
