Was told drive shaft was worn out needs rebuilt or new any 1 here of this

Rebuilding them consists of new U joints and maybe balanced. If it was so loose the the u joints wallowed out the keepers, Then yes, they would also need replaced. Cut off and welded on. That isn't a common problem, but I have had to replace a few. Not just on jeeps.

Why can't my 2006 jeep go into 4 wheel drive?

are you on dirt? or pavement...????????????????????????
we cant answer until you answer what 4wd option you have.
if that makes no sense, then read the operators guide,
it tells you what's there and how to use it.
read that first, then ask questions,?
and if Part time 4wd?, it';s not to be used on dry pavement only ICE.

eg:

4WD: Select-Trac (or older Select-Drive has a slip coupling too, NP129/229) is AWD in that, "the "4Hi" setting the drive shafts were coupled together using a viscous-type coupler " this anti wind up slipper"
Watch out for exception 1: Select-Trac NP228 based jeeps, it does not have a viscous-type limited-slip coupling. It was used briefly in 1986.
Quada-Trac is full time 4WD (not in lock mode) has a real center differential to shift torque between front and rear. This is the best system , not just a slip clutch as above. Then went BACK to the slipper in 1980. (odd huh?) Up to 1998.
Quadra-Trac-II "4-All Time", "N" or neutral, and "4-Lo". In "4-All Time", torque is applied to the rear wheels under normal driving conditions.
If the rear axle starts rotating at a significantly higher rate than the front axle, hydraulic pressure builds up in the gerotor oil pump and causes the clutch pack, to progressively transfer torque to the front axle, until both axles return to the same speed
Quadra-Trac I was introduced in 2004-10, same as above but is automatic with no driver controls ,like above.
The Quadra-Drive system was introduced in 1999 and is based on the Quadra-Trac II system but adds limited slip differentials (the best full time system ,with great traction to all wheels all the time) 1999 to 04.
Quadra-Drive-II has electronic limited slip differentials or ELSDs 2005 up.

Why wont my jep go into 4 wheel drive when I pull th lever?

we cant guess what is In YOUR CAR, ever.
you must SAY. or RTM, in the glove box.
and why are you using 4wd on dry pavement, now>?

2002 Chevy 4wd

maby im wrong but if you rev up and only rear wheels spin that means that it might be 4 wheel drive but not constant 4 wheel drive or diff lock system ,,,, ,, in 4 wheel drive all wheells will turn together but if pressure of slip is bad enough or torque high enough only 2 wheels will drive ,,, thats why diff lock locks wheels together in each axle to over come this ,,, all wheel drive like in landrover locks all 4 wheels together to ensure all wheels rotate to give best grip

How do I rgerplabe how do I replace a front wheel bearing?

TO REMOVE FRONT WHEEL BEARING.YOU NEED TO SAFELY RAISE SUPPORT VECHICLE ON JACK STANDS.MAKE SURE SITTING ON LEVEL SOLID GROUND.BEFORE RAISING VECHICLE OFF GROUND YOU NEED TO LOOSEN HALF SHAFT AXLE NUT JUST A LITTLE BECAUSE WHEEL IN THE AIR HARD TO LOOSEN AXLE NUT WHEN YOU HAVE HOLD THE WHEEL WHILE LOOSEN THE AXLE NUT WHICH IS TORQUE ON ABOUT 200 FT LBS.USING A SIX POINT AXLE SOCKET SOCKET SIZE COULD BE 34 OR 35 METRIC 1/2 INCH SOCKET.YOU NEED 1/2 INCH BREAKER BAR.ONCE YOU LOOSEN AXLE NUT A LITTLE THEN RAISE VECHICLE THEN REMOVE WHEEL.THEN FINISHING REMOVING AXLE NUT AND WASHER.THEN REMOVE THE CALIPER FROM THE STEERING KNUCKLE AND SUPPORT IT ASIDE USING A PIECE OF WIRE.REMOVE BRAKE ROTOR.THEN REMOVE THE 3 HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY BOLTS. USE A SWIVEL SOCKET GOING TO BE HARD TO REACH SPOT WITH A REGULAR SOCKET. REMOVE THE HALF SHAFT FROM THE HUB BEARING ASSEMBLY.REMOVE HUB AND BEARING ASSEMBLY. PUT EVERY THING BACK VISA VERSA. TORQUE HUB BEARING BOLTS TO 70 FT LBS. TORQUE AXLE NUT 284 FT LBS IF YOUR CAR IS 1998 MODEL AND TORQUE AXLE NUT 100 FT LBS FOR THE 1999 TO 2001 MODELS.THE WHEEL HAS TO BE ON THE GROUND JUST ENOUGH TO KEEP IT FROM TURNING.DONT LET ALL THE CAR WEIGHT DOWN UNTIL YOU HAVE TORQUE WHEEL TO THE RIGHT TORQUE.LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS.

Jeep stuck in low four wheel drive

Put the transmission in neutral, emergency brake off, foot off the brake pedal, now try shifting out of 4 wheel drive low. If that doesn't work, drive forward, and again do the above, trans. in neutral, roll to a stop, foot off brake, try to disengage. What you're probably experiencing is called drive shaft 'wind up', and it is very difficult to disengage, but do the above and it should shift out of 4 low. countrycurt0
