SOURCE: 1999 NISSAN ALTIMA KEYLESS REMOTE PROGRAMMING

1999-2003
Enter vehicle, close and lock all doors.
slowly insert and remove key from ignition 6 times within 10 seconds. The tail lamps will flash to indicate original code has been erased. Turn ignition to the ACC position.
Press any button on 1st transmitter.
Hazard lamps will flash to confirm programming.
TO enter additional transmitters, unlock then lock the doors using the power lock switch located on the driver door.
Press any button on additional transmitter (up to 4 tansmitters total possible). Hazard lamps will flash to confirm programming.
open the driver's door.
Turn ignition off.

You must re-program all existing transmitters as this process erases codes from car.

SOURCE: 2004 nissan altima key code

You have to take it to the dealer to get the new key programmed. Try holding the old key near the ignition switch and see if it will start. That way at least you could drive it to the dealer instead of paying for a tow truck.

SOURCE: Hi I want to program a new keyless fob. I have

1. Close and lock all doors with the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch.

2. Insert key into ignition and remove it from the ignition key cylinder at least six times within 10 seconds. Your Hazard
Lamps will flash if you have performed this step successfully. NOTE: Withdraw key completely from ignition cylinder
each time. If this procedure is performed too fast, system will not enter programming mode.

3. Insert key into the ignition cylinder and turn to the ACC position.

4. Within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the remote transmitter. Your Hazard Lamps should flash. NOTE: Do not press
the button more than one time in the above step. If the button is pressed more than one time, the programming
procedure will not be successful.

5. If there are any remaining transmitters (including the old ones), unlock then lock all doors using the driver’s side
power lock/unlock switch and within 5 seconds, push ANY button on the next remote. Your Hazard Lamps should
flash. Repeat this step for each transmitter (including any existing transmitters).

6. Turn the key to the OFF position, remove keys from the ignition, unlock doors using the driver’s side power lock/unlock switch and open the driver side door.

How do you set the timing on a 06 Nissan Altima 3.5?

Your vehicle isn't like the older vehicles to where you can just put a timing light on it and set it. The computer/ECM sets the timing for via inputs from sensors. I gave you a desciption below. There is however some procedures you can "teach" or "relearn" your ECM to "kind of" reset the timing. The big thing is the volume air control learning which is a big part of the ECM setiing the timing. I gave you the procedure to "teach" your gas pedal it's proper position as well as a procedure to "teach the volume air control to set the time (without a diagnostic computer since I am assuming you don't have in your tool box). This is about the only way to set the timing for your vehicle without investing big $$$ in computer equipment/diagnostic tools. This is right out of my factory service manual I use here at my shop. If you do need any more information pretty much about anything for your vehicle, feel free to write me an email at [email protected] with your question. Please be detailed so I send the correct information if you do email me. Don't worry, if I have the info and send it to you there is no cost. Anyhow, I hope this helps you and good luck.
