Its a 52 reg A3 5 door removal of drivers door card (panel)
Its a 52 reg A3 5 door and i would like to know how to remove the drivers door card as i can only see one screw under the door pull handle what takes the window switches off.
Re: Its a 52 reg A3 5 door removal of drivers door card...
You need to look Very closely, on the underside of the handles, for small, 'hidden' fixings to release the switch gear. The card itself,is hooked onto the door. So there aren't too many screws actually holding it all together. Good luck with that.

you have to remove the inner door panel. you'll need a special plier to remove the inner door handle or a very flat blade. Once thats done, you need to remove the regulator bolts and secure the window while sliding out the reg.
This is a pane to do, unbolt the plate, you will need to move the plate around and down to get to bolts at the bottom of the glass to remove the glass, with glass removed make sure the linkage to latch is disconnected and any wiring, then you will be able to remove the plate, hope this helps.
typical french car,it has a plastic clip that if someone slams the door it breaks and you need to remove the interior door panel/inner skin(plastic)to get to it (the clips on the door will break off.)the clip runs between the door handle and the operating mechanism.
On the inside trim,
you can remove screws (these screws may be covered by filler pieces or
may be visible, or they may require you pry a plastic piece off that
covers the screws) that are by the door handle,
arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the
panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want
to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to
get it off the window ledge. Then you'll need to manipulate the panel
and disconnect the door handle linkage from the door handle and
disconnect the wiring for your controls.
remove door panel, a couple of screws, then pull up and panel comes off, uhook wire connections, now support window. remove 2 bolts holding glass to regulator and then unbolt reg from door unhook motor connection and pull out. good luck.
The window regulator (the track part) probably has failed. The motor and regulator might come together. It is easy to replace. Hardest part is getting the door panel off, which you've already done. Just unbolt glass from reg, slide up out of the way, tape glass up so it doesn't fall on your hands while your working with the reg. Unbolt reg from door and tilt down to remove from door. There should be an opening in the door to bring it out or you may have to remove a speaker. Just be careful working with the glass.
Ok, I'm assuming you verified that in deed the motor is faulty. You will need to remove the door inner trim panel switches, entry lighting and inner door handle will need to be unplugged/removed there should be a inner weather seal also this seal is important if you would like to keep the inner trim panel from rotting away so carefully remove it. Attached to the window motor is the regulator. The window is directely connected to reg. by two fastening nuts 10 mm. window stops at top of door as well remove. I mark there location when removing this makes adjust alot easier and most times no adjustment needed if marking is right once window is out regulator and motor can be removed I strong suggest that if possible to move the reg. and window motor in full up position to remove motor this is because the reg. has a spring assit to help raising window glass and is under tension to be wary of this fact Three screws attach motor to regulator these screws will in most cases be tight sometimes requiring " Impact Driver Tool" this is a hand used with a ball peen hammer once screws are out reassembliy time If this is your frist time with this type of repair I suggest help of assitant window glass will need to be very carefully handled.. good luck
what reg if its the window reg remove door trim,
