SOURCE: My 2005 Saab 93 Won't Start. Turns over clicks and

The battey may seem fine , but it most likley is weak and needs to be charged , or replaced. The clicking you hear is the ign relay or solenoid not having the amperage to fully engage the starter to allow the starter to turn the flywheel and start the engine. Also really check you battery connections , make sure they are super clean and tight.

SOURCE: Check engine light Saab 05 93 Linear

Take the car to a local auto parts place and they should be able to scan the computer and give you the code that triggered your check engine light. Most places will run this scan for free. Even if your Saab appears to be running fine it is prudent to have this checked to avoid a sudden break down. I hope this helps. Good luck.

SOURCE: honda accord ex 2001 check engine light suddenly came on, car started to idle roughly

If it's running rough, chances are that it's misfiring. If the Check Engine light is flashing/blinking, it is definitely misfiring.
If that's the case, drive it as little as possible... Or straight to the mechanic because the more you drive it while it's misfiring, the higher the chance is of you ruining your catalytic converter.

Sorry, but on the 04 saab arc 93 can I get a wiring diagram of the cranking, starting system. Thanks

If you're finding it difficult to service/repair your car, get one of those online manuals. You'll not have to wait for others to answer, or rely on mechanics and all. Plus i know a website that sells very cheap but very very good manuals online, without expiry i.e. for lifetime.
for this u can try reliable-store which is pretty good

I suspect you have a problem in the security system receiver module, which in most cars must be programmed by the dealer.

1999 Saab 9-5 SE

I own a  99' 9-5 V6 turbo SE.  Had the same thing.  Started smelling gas in the car, sometimes.  Instead of not starting it died (as in the engine stopped) on a barren stretch of road at night.  Towed to the Saab dealer: Conclusion?  Replaced the fuel pump and sending unit. Don't ask how much.

Try this simple solution,
Buy some fuel conditioner additive from auto parts supplier, to clean out any water contamination in fuel, run through a full tank and then replace fuel filter.
The fuel pump on the model has been known to stop when it comes in contact with water, so it may fix your problem.
All the best..
