SOURCE: Where is the oil dipstick on a 2004 mercedes clk
Tina, you have a very good question, as you will see by my answer: To check engine oil:park car on a level surface, car should be at normal operating temp (been driven for 20 minutes or more), car should be stationary (engine off) for at least 5 minutes. Turn smart key on move to position 2 or press 'keyless go' start/stop button once. The standard display should appear on the multi-function display. Press arrow up or down buttons on the steering wheel until you get the message 'engine oil level'. It will then display if the level is correct, or if you need to add some. Holy c__p, in their quest to make this 'simple', they have failed miserably. At least you won't get your hands dirty. Check for a comment to come shortly. Curt

Hello. Alarm systems can be a pain when they get to be bad. It sounds like the security alarm unit could be bad and it might need to be replaced. Also check the batteries of the keyremotes, if they are bad, they can cause big problems for no reason. Make sure that no one is trying to steel the car or playing games with you. Good Luck.
