SOURCE: coolant

check the rear heater lines on the right side(passenger side) of the van. there is a rubber hose that was leaking on mine. I found it after the dealer said nothing was wrong.
It did not cost anything for repair as they had a service note on it.

SOURCE: coolant in coolant reservoir did not fill low level in radiator

you must drain air out of system
so when engine is warmed up, just unscrew slightly the thermo time switch which is the highest sensor and unit in cooling system besides the reservoir, until alittle air releases then when antifreeze starts coming out then retighten to specs. BE VERY CAREFUL !!!! LOOSEN VERY SLOWLY AND NOT COMPLETELY REMOVE FOR THIS CAN CAUSE BURNS. MIGHT WANT TO USE A RAG AROUND SENSOR. If this doesnt solve it then make sure you have the correct rad. cap. Also that the filling hose is not clogged as well as the little port on radiator.

My 2006 Caravan temperature gauge goes to red - engine is not overheating. Kick it into a lower gear (automatic trans) and the gauge comes back down. Is it likely the coolant sensor?

Could be.. is the system FULL? Air in it can cause some odd things. When engine and coolant are COLD (as in after sitting over night), open the radiator cap. Top off the overflow res with a 50/50 antifreeze / water mixture to HOT mark. Start engine, turn heat to hot and fan to high. Top off RADIATOR with same 50/50 mixture slowly & gradually. As the coolant circulates, it should bring any AIR trapped in the system (from heater core & engine block) to the radiator where you can replace it with the 50/50 mix. Once the coolant is HOT and stays level - about an inch under the opening, close the radiator. Monitor the overflow res and add as needed. Good luck!

Refilling radiator

Before you add coolant always make sure that the engine is cool never add coolant to a hot engine.Next remove the radiator cap and fill it to the top with a 50/50 mixture of coolant and water. After you have filled the radiator with the coolant water mixture put the radiator cap back on and then fill the reserve tank to the cold level mark on the side of the bottle

I have toyota prius 2008 suddenly start showing little red triangle and green car display on the battery diagram gone red from green please any body knows about it..

I had the same problem, Check the inverter coolant pump.
Most probably , the pump must be not working.
How to check the coolant pump?
Closer to the inverter , there is clear plastic bottle filled with red colour solution.
Now open the lid while on start and check whether the water is moving.
If the water is not moving , then definitly the solution is to replace the coolant water pump.
I hope you can correct it.
good luck.

Code P0A93 for toyota PRIUS WHAT IS THE PROBLEM ? Check Engine light and ! and VSC Warning lights I looked up code P0A93 equals StandaRD DTC'S (ISO 15031-6/SAE J2012) WHAT THIS MEAN?

P0A93 is an inverter cooling problem. The inverter is cooled by a dedicated cooling system, which consists of an electric water pump, cooling fan, and radiator. This cooling system is independent of the engine cooling system. The mechanic should check if there is sufficient amount of coolant for the inverter, check if the coolant hose is not bent or clogged, if the water pump / cooling fan motor connections are ok, and of course if both of the cooling fan motors are OK

Low coolant level light is on and off. The reserve tank is at its level and radiator also. No overheating. Please help.

I read in the manual that sometimes you need to add or check the radiator as well as the coolant level, I had filled just the reservoir and that did not fix the low coolant light. However I did read that when filling the radiator there is a screw on top of the thermostat housing to bleed the coolant.... you are supposed to start the engine to get the air out of the line as you fill the radiator. Of course only do this when engine is cold. I still have to do this but I cannot get the radiator cap off as I have arthritis and it is very difficult. I hope this helps. Check the manual also.

I just purchased a 03 wrangler. The coolant res

There should be a fill level mark and yes you need to put in immediately, run the car until it reaches operating temp, then see where the level is after you shut it off.

Adding Coolant

Wait til the car is cold and then open the cap on the RADIATOR by pushing it down while twisting. The coolant must be filled to the brim. Replace the cap and then fill the overflow tank to the "cold" mark. Use a 50/50 mixture of water and coolant.

Adding antifreeze to 2003 dodge dakota sxt

normaly you add to the plastic res , but lets make sure its full , so when it is cold the engine then open the radiator cap the metal one slowly and first top it off then close cap all the way and fill plastic res to the cold fill line. but usualy you just make sure the plastic tank is either full to the hot line or cold line , which is when the engine is hot or cold. but it is also good to check both .

P3108 is generally loosing communication with the A/C system control module. This can usually be solved by checking the wires and or the converter inverter assembly.
